Phoebe is a 10 year old Chihuahua / Miniature Pinscher who stole my heart 7 years ago.

I met her at the pet store when she was rescued from being gassed in Las Vegas. I was never able to get a dog, so after holding her for a while at the store, I left and we both were crying. Three hours later I was back at the pet store to adopt Phoebe. She instantly remembered who I was. I knew, because she jumped into my arms. Phoebe not only became my best friend that day, she also began to help me with my severe anxiety.

On October 12th I found out that Phoebe is living with Breast Cancer. The vet did many tests to find the lumps on her breast tissues and then proceeded with surgery to remove the lumps on October 24th. The vet gave her up to 10 months to live.

On November 13th I found out not only is she living with breast cancer, but she has bladder cancer as well. The mass found in her bladder has absolutely nothing to do with the breast cancer. They are completely unrelated. She has now been given 4-6 months to live.

Phoebe is my best friend, my everything and I am absolutely heart broken.

I really don’t expect much, if any at all. I’m just hoping to have some stress due to vet bills relieved so I can focus on giving all of my love to my Phoebe.
